It was a lovely Saturday evening in June.  They announced a special event with old barks, illuminated at 10 PM. After a good supper at the border of Lake Geneva, we spent the time till 10 PM listening to a very good orchestra playing oldies from the ’60s. The sky slowly turned dark and then all of sudden the barks were illuminated. The spectacle and the weather were just perfect, the lake quiet and I was so glad we decided to stay in St. Gingolph and participated passively in the scene. 

This event takes place from time to time, and this year it was a special beautiful evening.
