NO VERTIGE, PLEASE!

It’s not the first time I go up to the famous Bhutanbridge, but it’s the first time this year. This bridge had been realized as a friendship symbol between Bhutan and Switzerland, both alpine countries, beginning of this century. The bridge is located in the Pfyn-forest in Susten. It is 134 meters long. The very first time you get over the bridge it’s a small challenge. But you get easily acquainted with the emptiness beyond. It’s traversing the Illgraben, also called the Great Canon of the Valais. Prayer flags are covering the bridge and give you the feeling of being elsewhere.
