At this time of Corona’s stay at home, I arrange my pictures on the computer. I came across my photos taken in the Tyrol 2 years ago. I would like to give you feedback on my stay in Meran, an exciting small city with an old history.

The trip by car from Zurich to Meran was quite long. We made a stop in the Munstertal and visited the famous church St. Johann in Mustair.

Le voyage de Zurich à Meran était assez long.  On a fait un stop dans le Munstertal, Grisons, et nous avons visités l’abbeye  bénédictine St. Jean.

This church has been build in the 8th Century. It is situated on the top of the pass over the alps from Italy and was fortified to control the pass.

Le couvent a été construit dans le 8ième siècle. Il est situé sur le col de Munster, le col qui va de la Suisse en Italie.

We only arrived in Meran in the late afternoon. 

We visited among others the Museum and the famous botanical garden of Trauttmansdorff Castle. The Wellness-Hotel we stayed, served fantastic food from morning till night. The sector Wellness with swimming pool and Sauna was just top. 

On est arrivé à Meran tard dans l’après-midi.

Le lendemain, après une visite dans le muséum, nous sommes allés admirer le fameux jardin botanique Trauttmansdorff.  C’est un rêve pour tous les amoureux des fleur.
